Man, I can't wait for this weekend. The summer is over and as far as I know, all of our serious work is done up at the hunting lease. We acquired some new land from the people next to our lease from last season and we now have 4800 acres to hunt on. Our lease is located in Nebo, Louisiana. We now have 40 members this season and it looks to be a good season. Everyone is getting along fine and we have a bunch of new faces and that is always fun. Hopefully some of us guys get to shoot at something big and furry.
We are going to make our first dedicated hunting trip this weekend up to the camp. We will most likely shoot some squirrels and rabbits but if a hog presents itself we will be eating fresh bacon on sunday morning. Hopefully that happens. I have already seen nineteen hogs while walking the land and even chased a few with my .45 pistol. Well, if we have any luck I will be sure to add pics and of course a blog telling the stories. Im sure there will be stories to be told.
Oh, and on another note the land that we are hunting on is right in the middle of what is considered a "High chance sighting area" for bigfoot... lol If I see him he is getting mounted on the wall.
